How To Update Your Medicare Address Online
To update your Medicare address online, you need to fill out a Medicare Change Of Address Form. The fastest way to do this address change is online. Your Medicare enrollment information is handled by the Social Security Administration and you can quickly complete a Medicare address change by logging in or creating an account on the Social Security website.
All you need to create a Social Security account is your Social Security number, and if you already have an account, you can sign in using your username and password. You can then make Medicare address changes under “my profile”.
How To Update Your Medicare Address Without Internet
If you don’t have a computer or Internet access, you can complete a Medicare address over the phone by calling the Social Security Administration at 1-800-772-1213, Monday through Friday from 7 am-7 pm in every time zone. Changing Your Address To An Assisted Living Facility Or Nursing Home
Before moving to an assisted living facility or nursing home, make sure that they can handle mail before making your Medicare address change. You can also consider changing your address to that of a friend or family member who can give you your mail and pass on Medicare communications.
